In
2001, LEONIDAS took its quality assurance a step further
by obtaining ISO 9001 certification, which the company
wanted to attain in order to continue its endeavour
towards constant improvement and customer satisfaction.
ISO 9001 certification was a good opportunity for the
company to take a closer look at its entire manufacturing
process and to check that everything was in place to
ensure a quality product.
With regard to the
introduction of the new European Directive, LEONIDAS
continues to use only cocoa butter both for its chocolate
and the fillings.
Our world famous chocolates are fresh and flown in weekly from Brussels, Belgium. Our chocolates are made of the freshest ingredients and should be consumed within 14 days of delivery. Leonidas chocolate maintains its freshness the best in a cool and dry area with temperatures between 59 and 65 degrees.
